PALLIATIVE CARE CENTRE

 


For the best possible care of terminally ill cancer patients as
the end of these  patients is very Painful, Pity and No Doctor Entertains these patients because of difficult treatment and poor outcome.

Amravati Cancer Foundation has started a charitable CANCER PALLIATIVE CARE CENTRE  from

14th April 2003 and started giving services to patients suffering from advanced cancers.

The main suffering of these patients which we are trying to treat are :

- Severe  Cancer pain.   

- Foul smelling badly infected wounds sometimes with maggots,

- Nutritional problems, 

 - Respiratory problems, etc etc.

The cancer is treating these problems and also giving psychological support to the patients and the relatives.

Palliative care centre of Amravati is the 12th such centre in india and 4th in Maharashtra.

 

This charitable hospital is situated at Kanwar Nagar square, Amravati and is a 14 bedded hospital

with general and special wards and a minor operation theater, with 24 hours services of staff and doctors

experienced in the management of cancer patients.
